Data residency
Control which geographic region processes your inference traffic, for compliance, latency, or data-handling requirements.
What data residency is
Data residency is control over where your inference requests are processed. Every request you send, the prompt, images, and the generated tokens, is handled by GPU capacity in the region that serves it. By default an organization is on Global: its requests are routed to whichever regional deployment can serve them, so any given request may be processed in any region.
When your compliance or data-handling obligations require traffic to stay in one region, you can pin your organization to a specific residency instead. A pinned organization's API keys are accepted only at that region's endpoint and rejected everywhere else, and a request never falls back to another region.
Regions and endpoints
Data residency currently supports one region, EU, alongside the Global endpoint:
| Endpoint | Residency | Models it serves |
|---|---|---|
| Global | Any region | All models across every residency, routed across regions. |
| EU | European Union | Only the models deployed in the EU region. |
The regional endpoint serves the subset of the catalog deployed in its region, while the Global endpoint carries every model across all residencies. The live list for an endpoint is always GET /models on that endpoint:

Enterprise plan required
Data residency is an Enterprise-plan feature: only organizations on the Enterprise plan can pin themselves to the EU endpoint. Organizations on every other plan are scoped to Global, with no regional restriction on where requests are processed.
Requesting an Enterprise plan
The Enterprise plan is not self-serve, it is priced by quote. Request one from the dashboard:
Open the dashboard
Sign in to the platform and go to the Dashboard tab.
Click Upgrade Plan
In the sidebar, click Upgrade Plan to open the plans dialog (the button reads Your Plan on organizations already on Enterprise).
Request a quote
On the Enterprise card, click GET A QUOTE, describe what you need (volume, rate limits, regions, support), and send the request. Our team reaches out with pricing, usually within one business day.
Once your organization is on the Enterprise plan, an organization admin (org-admin) can move it to EU under Data residency on the Settings page. Switching regions changes the base URL your clients must call, so update them afterwards; API keys, credits, and billing are untouched.
